Our Projects

Case Studies

I was delighted when Mrs Horn approached me to assist in the soft furnishings for her new build family home. Mrs Horn arrived at my studio with a sample of wallpaper from the fabulous Louise Body. This wallpaper was to be the base to which we would design from, and what a delight it was! We decided on a striking pink chenille fabric for the curtains from Fibre Naturelle, to contrast against the mustard accessories in the room. Mrs Horn wanted roman blinds but did not want to compromise on light, so we eventually came up with voile roman blinds. The voile fabric by Prestigious Textiles brings an essence of softness and contrasts beautifully against the chenille curtains. The curtains were to just be dress curtains, and Mrs Horn did not want a curtain pole or track as wanted to keep a clean feel, so we decided to attach the curtains to the top of the roman blind headrails. This is something new for me and I feel it is very effective. Finally, to add a feel of glamour to the room, we decided to puddle the hem of the curtains.

Lounge Curtains & Roman Blinds – Mrs Horn

I love my gorgeous curtains and blinds. Katherine was brilliant at offering advice and made me feel very relaxed during the whole process. She was always there to answer any questions I had and went out of her way to help me, even out with her trade. Thank you again Katherine. Mrs Horn, Aberdeenshire.
